12:00pm Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah Mount Tomah is located approximately 40 kilometres west of Richmond, on the Bells Line of Road. Its peak is 1,016 metres above sea level. Located at Mt Tomah is the highest botanic garden in Australia. Blue Mountains Botanic Garden was established here in 1972. Stroll through the garden, bring a picnic and enjoy the panoramic views.
13:00pm Lost City (stay for 1h) The Lost City lies just a few kilometres north of Lithgow. It is a series of unusual pagoda structures that resemble an old decaying civilisation swallowed by the wilderness. Some Pagodas look look like old castles, others like apartment blocks and some even look like houses with thatched roofs. There is also an old coal mine and two old dams in the valley below the Lost City.
14:30pm Zig Zag Railway (stay for 1.5h) Zig Zag Railway is a family friendly venue offering visitors the chance to experience heritage steam travel on the original rail path down the picturesque western escarpment of the Blue Mountains – almost exactly as it was in the late 1800s.
